Take a look at my site, I used their services (for free) in creating the three banners that you see, and I used it without photoshop using this excellent banner/header software. Very, very professional, too! I google searched for two days until I found Xheader. Sometimes it’s the choice in wording, but I’m glad that there’s an actual site that helps bloggers build professional banners.
Other sites that I visited for their so-called “free” banners were a pain in the butt, or the banners were childish-looking, or you had to click through tons of ads just to get through. I even visted a site where after the banner was built, and I downloaded the code, the website had their URL in the middle of the banner. I tried changing the code, but when I did, the banner was useless - well, not with Xheader, this site is legit. Of course, like every online company, they have their “Pro” version, but I’ve done pretty well so far with their free version of 500 banners, and you have a choice to create your own blank canvass, too.
